Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

This policy explains how LeadExperts ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information, wherever you are. We are based in South Africa, so our handling of personal information is governed by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA"). If you are located elsewhere, you may also have rights under your local law, such as the GDPR in the United Kingdom and European Union, or state privacy laws in the United States, and we will honour those rights where they apply.

1. Who we are

  • Trading name: LeadExperts
  • Information Officer: contactable at hello@leadexperts.co.za
  • General contact: hello@leadexperts.co.za

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information in three contexts.

  • Visitors to this website. The contact details and content of any email you send us, and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device and the pages you viewed.
  • People who respond to campaigns we run. Name, contact details and the information submitted in an enquiry form or advertisement response, together with the campaign and channel it came from.
  • Clients and prospective clients. Business contact details, correspondence, and the billing and payment information needed to invoice you.

3. How we collect it

Directly from you by email, through landing pages and enquiry forms we operate, through cookies and similar technologies on this website, and through the advertising and analytics platforms we use to run campaigns.

4. Why we process it

  • To respond to enquiries and correspondence.
  • To deliver enquiries to the client whose campaign generated them.
  • To plan, run, measure and improve advertising campaigns.
  • To invoice, collect payment and keep accounting records.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We process personal information where it is necessary to perform a contract, where we have a legitimate interest that is not outweighed by your rights, where the law requires it, or where you have consented.

5. Our role

Where we generate an enquiry through a campaign run for a client and pass it to that client, we handle that information on the client's behalf (an "operator" under POPIA, or a "processor" under laws such as the GDPR), and the client is responsible for what happens to it afterwards. For information about our own clients, our correspondence and this website, we are responsible for it (a "responsible party" or "controller").

6. Who we share it with

  • The client whose campaign generated the enquiry.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms used to run and measure campaigns.
  • Service providers such as hosting, email, CRM and accounting providers, acting on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers, and any party to whom we are required to disclose by law.

We do not sell personal information.

7. International transfers

We work with clients and service providers in other countries, so personal information may be stored or processed outside the country where it was collected. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it remains protected to a standard substantially similar to the law that applies to it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Enquiry data is retained for 12 months, and client and accounting records for 5 years.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access and unlawful processing. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing in certain circumstances, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Depending on where you live, your local law may give you further rights, and we will respond to requests made under it. Requests may be sent to our Information Officer at hello@leadexperts.co.za.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live, or to South Africa's Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

11. Cookies and tracking

This website and the landing pages we operate use cookies and similar technologies to measure advertising performance and attribute enquiries to the campaign that produced them. The tools in use include Google Analytics for site analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies, though parts of a page may not work as intended if you do.

12. Direct marketing

Where we send electronic direct marketing, we do so in line with the law that applies to it, and every message includes a way to opt out. You may also opt out at any time by emailing hello@leadexperts.co.za.

13. Children

Our services are directed at businesses and we do not knowingly collect the personal information of children. If you believe we hold such information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, and the date it was last updated, will always appear on this page.

15. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or about how we handle personal information, may be sent to hello@leadexperts.co.za.
